Preparation of statutory accounts for Limited Companies and Limited Liability Partnerships.

We prepare your company’s accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act and financial reporting standards. We advise you about your obligations under company law and assist you with meeting your filing requirements.

Because we take an interest in your affairs, we review the recent performance of your business and discuss your plans for the future when we prepare your year end accounts. This gives us the opportunity to provide you with constructive advice in connection with your taxation affairs and about broader business issues.

Corporation tax compliance and advice.

We prepare your company’s corporation tax return and the associated corporation tax computations in accordance with the relevant tax legislation, ensuring that all appropriate allowances are claimed on your behalf.

You are free to get on with running your business secure in the knowledge that we will keep you informed of future liabilities and filing deadlines on a timely basis.
We file returns electronically on your behalf and we will correspond with HM Revenue & Customs so that you do not have to.

We review your affairs for tax planning opportunities as part of the work we do in preparing the returns for submission. Sole Trader / Partnership Accounts

We are experienced in preparing the accounts of Sole Traders and Partnerships who in many cases do not have a formal or structured way of working compared to limited companies.

We can prepare and assist in the preparation of your accounts whether it be from your manual cashbook or accounting software. Occasionally we will take a ‘shoe box’ of records too.

We will provide advice on your record keeping to enable you to improve the financial information available to you as a basis for running your business and with the additional benefit of keeping your accountancy fees at the right level for your business.

Partnership Tax Returns

When you trade in partnership you will be required to prepare a Partnership Self-Assessment return. We can prepare this return for you along with the associated tax computations for the partnership, and for the individual partners.

By subscribing to our fee protection service you are protected against the additional fees that would be incurred in engaging us to defend you or your company, should you be the subject of a full investigation by HM Revenue & Customs.

Our fee protection service, or tax investigations service as it is sometimes known, is fully backed by an Insurance Policy which we have taken out with Abbey Tax Protection. We are able to make a claim in respect of the fees which we accrue when we defend a client who has subscribed to the service.
